Dear Sponsor,

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you affectionately hoping there is peace in your home and that our Lord´s blessings are with you.  I live with my mother, stepfather and one sister. My stepfather´s name is Hernan Arias and he is lovely with us. Thank God, my stepfather works as an assistant accountant and in that he can help my mother because she cannot find a job. For now she takes care of us and does the household chores. Fortunately we are in good health. I am attending first grade and my teacher is teaching me how to read and write. I hope to write a letter for you by myself. My school´s name is Jesus Castro Gomez and I enjoy playing hide-and-seek, tag, jump rope and hula hoop with my friends. We have a lot of fun together. My parents hardly ever take us for a trip due do our lack of money. During last Christmas season, I had a wonderful time with my family.  We ate roasted pork leg and we drank hot fruit punch. Also, I lit firecrackers and small sparklers. I had a cheerful time with my whole family. I am young and I do not know what I would like to be when I grow up. I have thought to be a veterinarian because I love animals. My biological father abandoned us many years.  He has communication with us but does not help us economically. At the moment I am the only who attends church.  I want to ask for your prayers for my parents and that they can attend with me someday. When my mother has problems with my stepfather, she prays to God asking for His help to resolve the problem in peace. Please, pray for my family to have the necessities at home and especially that we have our Lord’s peace and love at home. I say good bye to you for now but I send you many kisses and hugs. May God bless you always!

In Jesus name

Daira Carina Corindo Veliz
