My Story

First, thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter. This is Edy, and I hope this letter finds you doing well. I am a member of Liberty Church and attend services on Fridays and Sundays. I am glad and grateful to LW because of the spiritual support that I have received. I have learned worthy and important things that help me to become better. A teacher of the evangelism team shared the gospel with me while he was collecting this information for you. My father, Nicolas Marroquin, is 41 years old. He is unemployed at the moment, but my older siblings help us with the expenses. My sister, Irma, works as a domestic employee, and my brother, Cesar, works assisting masons. My mother keeps busy at home with the chores and looking after our dogs and cats. Her name is Gladis Perez. Thankfully, my whole family and I are healthy.

I am in seventh grade again, but fortunately, I receive face-to-face classes. I am glad about this method since it helps me to learn my lessons better. Paying my school expenses has been a little hard for my family because of our lower resources. I look forward to becoming a tour guide when I am older. Learning English is crucial to achieving my goal, so I also would like to try it someday. My favorite celebration is Christmastime because of the lovely environment that families create. I am sixteen years old, and my next birthday will be in September. I love my family because they do their best to celebrate my birthday by preparing a delicious dinner. My favorite hot drink is coffee, and my favorite sport is basketball. I say goodbye for now, but I hope the Lord continues blessing your life.

Sincerely yours,

Edy Eduardo Marroquin Perez
