My Story

Hello! This is Daren Abdiel and I want you to know that it is a blessing for me to greet you through this. I hope you and your loved ones are doing well. My family and I attend Liberty Church in Zacualpa town. We attend services twice weekly. Thankfully, we are healthy. My mother, Irma Gutierrez, is 29 years old. She is a housewife and does her best at home while my father works by selling ceramic tiles. His name is Walter Gutierrez, and he is 28 years old. By God’s grace, we have all that we need at home. We are deeply grateful to the Almighty for being part of LW. This project has blessed many children like me with delicious lunches.

I am ten years old, and I would love to become a dentist when I am older. Therefore, I am doing my best as a fourth grader. I am glad to receive face-to-face classes because the teachers explain the lessons better and that helps me a lot.

My favorite holiday is Christmas. My family and I celebrate that lovely time by eating tasty tamales. I love drinking natural beverages such as horchata and hibiscus tea. I would love to learn how to speak a new language like English. I hope to be able to do it someday. I had my birthday in June. What I love the most is having a delicious cake and a special lunch to celebrate my day. I like sports, but my favorite is soccer. To end this letter, I want you to know that my father helped a teacher at LW to collect all my news to let you know about it. I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope to hear from you soon.
