My Story

I wish the best on this beautiful day, and I trust in God you are fine! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Rock of Power Christian Church; we go on Sundays. This time LW staff shared the gospel with us, and we appreciate it so much. My father is Julio Roberto Jerez Perez, and he is 36 years old. He makes a living by farming the land, and he supports the family´s needs. My mother is Maria Andres Pedro, and she is 33 years old. She is working on a coffee farm, and she is in charge of moving the coffee beans in the yard so can dry. We grow corn and black beans for the family's consumption. We have a cat. I am so thankful to God because my family and I are healthy.

This is Jonathan Josue Jerez Andres, and I am an 8-year-old boy. I am a second-grade student; I receive classes at school and my learning is better. My parents are striving to support me at school, but it is hard for them because they do not earn very much. When I grow up, I would like to be a nurse. I would like to learn English; I think it is a very interesting language. I like to play football in my free time; it is the sport I like the most. My favorite drink is Coca-Cola which is delicious. I feel so happy when Christmas comes because I like the gifts; I receive one in the feeding program. Something I love to do on my birthday is eating a cake with my family, and I also like the candies. My family and I are so thankful for all support I receive through Living Water which is so helpful for us. Since we are a humble and needy family, our greatest needs are groceries.
