My Story

Hello! I greet you with this letter and hope you have a successful and blessed day. I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. At the moment, we continue attending the God`s Love Church every Sunday and Thursday, and we are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared for their encouraging words. My mother`s name is Berta Elizabeth Fajardo, and she is in good health. Nowadays, she earns a living by working as a farmer.  My father´s name is Selvin Arisander Ruiz. He is 40 years old. At the moment, he works as a driver of a “tuc-tuc” (it is a motorcycle taxi) to transport people to different places. By the grace of God, all my family and I are in good health.

I am Cristian Yuvini Ruiz Fajardo, and I am 10 years old. This year, I am in 4^th grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes, and I am learning a lot and enjoying the time with my classmates. At the moment, my parents are making an effort to support me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that they do not have a stable job.  In the future, I want to become a policeman. I speak Spanish where I live, but I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. Winter is my favorite season of the year because I love the cool weather.  Banana smoothie is what I like to drink. I have a dog as a pet at home. I would like to eat a cake and spaghetti and to have “piñatas” (a kind of poppet full of candies) for my birthday. Among sports, I prefer soccer. We are a humble family; our needs are groceries, and sometimes, it is so difficult for my parents to pay our monthly rent. (Q 400.00= US$ 53.00) I ask for your prayers for them. I am sure God will provide. My family and I are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed in our lives for instance with meals, medical and dental care and spiritual support.
