My Story

Hello! I greet you in Jesus’ name hoping you are doing well wherever you are. I am Elder Ruiz, and I am writing you this small letter to tell you how my family and I are doing this year. As you know, my parents are abroad, so my siblings and I are under the care of a paternal aunt. Her name is Josefina, and she is 32 years old. She works as a weaver and takes care of us very well. My parents, Agustin and Magdalena, are in the United States, and my father is the one who is covering all our expenses. He is working in the cleaning area of a hotel. We have communication with them. The income is low, so we are in need of groceries like corn. My siblings and I attend a church but with another paternal aunt.

I am 6 years old, and I am in kindergarten II. I prefer face-to-face classes because I learn more and share good moments with my classmates. I do not know yet which profession I would like to have in the future. I do not practice a sport; I just keep playing toy cars. I love Christmas time because it brings a happy environment and I see the colorful fireworks that people light. I get happy when it is my birthday, and I talk with my parents by phone. My favorite drink is lemonade. Thankfully, I am in good health. It has been a great blessing to receive food, Bible classes and medicine thanks to Living Water and you. I say goodbye to you for now hoping to have news from you soon.

With much love

Elder Agusto Ruiz De La Cruz
