My Story

Hi! I greet you in the name of Jesus and I hope you are doing fine. I want to tell you a little about my family and me through this letter. I am Wendy Yohana Hernandez Garcia and I am 13 years old.  As a family, we are attending the Prince of Peace Church twice a week. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words during the visit.  This year, I studied the 6^th grade at school and I received face-to-face classes every day.  I learned a lot about topics with this study method. Currently, school fees are expensive, but my father made an effort to support my brother and me with school expenses. My dream is to become a policeman. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, but I would like to learn English which is a very interesting language.  My favorite season of the year is summer because I like to play with water. I like to drink Coca-Cola. I do not celebrate my birthday, but I would like to do it.  Among sports, I prefer soccer. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Felipa Garcia de la Cruz. She is 47 years old. At the moment, she continues doing chores at home. In addition, she raises pigs for sale and gets some income. My father`s name is Domingo Ramiro Hernandez Benito. He is 50 years old. Nowadays, he earns a living by working as a farmer. In addition, he grows corn for our family`s consumption. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I received recently through LW. I hope you like to read my letter. May God bless you and take care of you!
